Hi Everyone! I know many of you have been waiting patiently for an update on when we can get started. I just got word that we will be able to get started on June 29th! I will be turning in our Return-to-Play plan to the athletic department and upon approval we call start on this date. If we do not have the required PPE, this could change the date as well. Here are a few things to keep in mind in order to join us for summer practices:
- You must have a physical on hand or on file with the High School or Middle School. Out of state physicals will be accepted for now, just bring a copy. I will also need a copy of your insurance card.
- There will be some Return-to-Play paperwork that will need to be filled out by athletes and parents and I will send that later.
- Everyone is required to wear a face mask when arriving and leaving the practice site. You will not be required to wear it during workouts.
- Everyone is required to have their own water bottles. If you do not bring a water bottle you will be sent home. No water fountains will be in use.
- We will capture your temperature using a non-touch thermometer and it will be tracked on a spreadsheet at every practice.
- Coaches are required to get tested. I have received my negative test results already.
- Once our Return-to-Play plan is approved I will post it so you all know the safety procedures we have put into place for your safety.
Tryouts are not scheduled yet, but I am hoping for mid to late July.
Coach Ashley and I can't wait to see you all and start getting this season in motion!
